After an introduction to the FHA, including its history, funding, and mortgage insurance program, this course looks in-depth at the requirements and terms set forth in the FHA Single Family Housing Policy Handbook. The goal of this course is to provide real estate brokers and salespersons with an understanding of the FHA appraisal process so that they can better inform and prepare clients and customers who may be applying for an FHA-insured mortgage loan.

New Jersey Real Estate Continuing Education

Total 12 Hours Required every 24 Months:

  • 6 Hours of Core Topics, with at least two hours of Ethics
  • 6 Hours of Electives

Completion Information:

Final Exams: New Jersey does not require final exams.

Course Certificate:

You will receive your course certificate immediately upon course completion. Print your certificate of completion and retain this certificate for your records. Your hours will be submitted to the continuing education service provider for the New Jersey Real Estate Commission.

Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course, but are generally 180 days from the date of purchase. Each course has an individual expiration date, which is listed in our student dashboard.
