This course provides real estate licensees insight into the settlement process with specific focus on the roles and responsibilities of the lending company and the title company. Licensees learn how to better explain and support their clients through the loan application and loan decision (underwriting) process, and how to assist with the obtainment of the required title clearances and documents. Licensees also spend time becoming familiar with the content and requirements for the Loan Estimate and Closing Disclosure so they can better assist clients with understanding the impact these two disclosures can have on their real estate transaction.

New Jersey Real Estate Continuing Education

Total 12 Hours Required every 24 Months:

  • 6 Hours of Core Topics, with at least two hours of Ethics
  • 6 Hours of Electives

Completion Information:

Final Exams: New Jersey does not require final exams.

Course Certificate:

You will receive your course certificate immediately upon course completion. Print your certificate of completion and retain this certificate for your records. Your hours will be submitted to the continuing education service provider for the New Jersey Real Estate Commission.

Expiration Date of Course: Course expiration dates vary by course, but are generally 180 days from the date of purchase. Each course has an individual expiration date, which is listed in our student dashboard.
